The stand is composed of two sections joined at a hinge, the larger section is carved with a folaite toprail terminating in lingzhi sprays, the area below the toprail is decorated with openwork stylised pavilion between two confronting kui-dragons. The body of the stand is carved with two confronting kui-dragons, with two further on the outside. The front folding section which hooks onto the reverse is decorated with further confronting kui dragons. Each of the terminals is elegantly carved with lingzhi sprays.

Condition: Both hooked ends have been restuck, with a small area of restoration to the openwork panel of the front and back section.
Small chips.
Otherwise appears to be in overall good condition; light wear consistent with age and natural age cracks to the wood.
