Ensemble of 30 pieces flat red lacquered sake-plates (hikisakazuki), each decorated with a different classical waka-poem by a different poet. Executed in gold-maki-e lacquer (and some other colours). They are stored in original wooden box with five drawers with small brass handles in chrysanthemum shape (kiku), behind a removable door. Each drawer contains six decorated plates.
The box bears the text: 30 pieces of hikisakazuki" and the name Kuroda Michitaku.
