Description: VERY FINE Chinese celadon jade covered censer, bulbous body raised on splayed foot base, open work carved scrolling foliate handles emerged on the shoulder, each suspending the free ring. Having domed lid with a flaring simply flower bud finial. The exterior carved in relief with flori-form petal lobed toward the circumference. The censer preciously presented upon a carved hardwood stand in lotus bloom motif. The carving are superb, finely polished plain exterior, simply design yet elegant. Displays smooth and beautiful clean translucent even tone, moist milky appearance all over surfaces. A portion of this high-grade Jade is considered quite rare.
