A ceramic statue of the goddess Kwan Yin seated on a rocky outcrop with right leg crossed over left knee, left foot resting on a lotus flower; urna to the centre of the brow, eyes closed in meditation; diadem with bead decoration to the side, hair pulled up into top knot; elaborate robes belted at the stomach; right hand resting on knee, left hand held up; later pigment to surface. 13.91 kg, 59 cm (23").
