Height of bronze 11 1/8 inches (28 cm.). Note: A figurative sculptor and art activist in New York City, Myers studied at the Chase School and the New York School of Art. After her marriage to artist Jerome Myers in 1905, she switched from painting to sculpture, specializing in caricature bronzes of city people. The original plasters were only cast in bronze after her death by her family in small editions.
