Pair 18th Century Chinese Canton Enamel Plates each with opposing scenes of scholar's in gardens with a border of flowers on yellow, the reverse with blue dragons over green, the bases with a pale blue dragon and a mark. The surfaces in good condition with 2 or 3 small chips to the rims of each, the reverse with areas of enamel missing from border without affecting front panels. Diameter 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm.).
