11th/12th centuryThe deep rounded sides rising from the tall narrow foot to an everted rim subtly notched to form six petals, covered inside and out with a dark-brown glaze decorated on the interior with abstract designs depicting a repeating pattern of loosely drawn stripes, fitted box. 12cm (4 6/8in) diam.
