Tibet, 15th/16th centurySeated in padmasana on a double lotus throne, holding a fruit in his right hand and a box in the left, the Buddha wearing a diaphanous dhoti with incised hems, the head with traces of gilt and pigment to the face and hair respectively; together with a bronze figure of Shadakshari Lokeshvara, wearing a five-pointed crown and loose-fitting robes, a figure of Shakyamuni atop the chignon, the figure and four arms framed by a flaming mandorla, probably 18th century. The Buddha: 11.5cm (4 1/2in) high (2).
