Edo period (1615-1868), 18th to 19th centuryComprising: a stag antler sennin holding a scythe and cloth, unsigned, 9.2cm (3 5/8in) high; a standing fishergirl, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in) high; and Shoki crouching, holding his hat on his back, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in) high; the wood netsuke comprising: Ebisu holding a creel, a large fish on a line on his back, signed Yoshitoshi, 5.4cm (2 1/8in) high; a boy standing with a large pup at his feet, 5.1cm (2in) high; a beggar seated sneezing while holding a tickling stick, unsigned, 3.5cm (1 3/8in) high; a sleeping monkey trainer, his monkey stealing food from a basket at his back, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in) wide; and a seated actor wearing a mask, signed Hoichi, 3.2cm (1¼in) wide.
