Including the signature of 154 additional participating players in the 144th Open Championship held in St. Andrews, 2015; as Champion Zach Johnson re-signed the margin directly below the black and white vignette at the conclusion of the championship, mounted and framed, 91.5cm wide, 72cm high (36in wide, 28in high)
|As is the custom, after each Championship the R&A ask each registering player to autograph two prints by that year's nominated official artist. A black inked pen is provided to ensure some uniformity. A large space is left for the champion to sign again.In this case an unsuspecting Zach Johnson signed the print on the upper mount directly below the old red brick university building. Each year, The R&A give one of the fully signed prints to a charity - in this case the St. Andrews Rotary Club.Due to appalling weather conditions the final round was moved to the Monday. After 72 holes three players finished with a total of 273 shots, with Zach Johnson finishing with a round of 66. A four hole aggregate play off concluded with Johnson beating Oosthuizen and Fleishman to become the 2015 Open Champion.
