Ding, Shaoguang (born 1939.10) born in Shaanxi and ancestral hometown is Yuncheng, Shanxi. In July 1980, Mr. Ding moved to the United States. Mr. Ding is a China Modern of the verve of the Heavy Color Painting and the world's trend painting artist. In 1962, Mr. Ding, Shaoguang graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts; during the years 1962-1980, he taught at the Yunnan Art Institute; in 1979, Mr. Ding created a large mural "beautiful, rich, magical Xishuangbanna," for the Beijing Great Hall; at the same year, "Ding Shaoguang Xishuangbanna collection of sketches" published. Since 1986—1996, Mr. Ding, Shaoguang had been holding more than 400 of his personal art exhibition around the world, and his art works were collected by 50 countries and regions.
