An antique Tibetan saddlecover, Central Asia. Decorative and simple ornamentation with lotus flowers surrounded by sea wave motifs. The centre hole was most likely made for a saddle horn and indicates that this example was made as a saddle decoration piece but could also be two small rugs that where never seperated. 19th century. 142 x 86 cm.
