|宗咯巴为藏传佛教格鲁派创立者，地位崇高。尊像结跏趺座于双层仰覆莲座上，双手持莲茎，于胸前结说法印。其头戴桃形僧帽，颔首垂目，面容慈祥。身着袒右式田相格袈裟，内着僧衣，袈裟及衣领錾刻花纹，衣褶流畅华美，封底阴刻十字金刚杵。尊像小巧而雕工精致，人物刻画生动而写实，是上师雕像的精品之作。
