A LARGE PORCELAIN BOX AND COVER PAINTED WITH A LANDSCAPE AND INSCRIBED, China, Guangxu period, dated 1895, three sign.: "yiwei yhongxiayue wang youtang zuo" (painted by Wang Youtang in the 5th month of the yiwei year), "shi yiwei puyue zuo yu changjiang youtang wang di zuo" (painted by Wang Di, byname Youtang, in Changjiang at the beginning of the 5th month of the yiwei year) und "liucun shi zuo" (painted by Mr. Liucun), all with a painted seal "yin". Wang Di, byname Youtang, alias Liucun, was a porcelain painter from Shexian, Anhui province, who was active during the late Qing dynasty and early Republic period.
