Impressive depiction of Buddha Shakyamuni in the famous lion posture as he the passes away and achieves maha-pari-nirvana. Wearing a headdress as well the adorned, multi-part robe of a Buddhist monk. Signs of age. Wood fragile. Small restorations (et al foot glued).
