The exterior of each jar is decorated with a striding dragon chasing the flaming pearl amidst flames and clouds, with an apocryphal six-character Qianlong seal mark to the base. The top of the cover is decorated with a stylized cloud scroll, and the sides are detailed with a wave pattern. The vessels are covered overall in a pale celadon glaze.
