|能食金刚又称能食空行，在藏传佛教中是比较有特点的：既是佛像，也是法器。作为佛像，能食金刚，具有吞噬一切不洁之物和净坛之力；作为法器也称为“护摩炉”，《大日经疏》卷二十中说：“护摩是以智慧之火焚烧烦恼的薪柴，使其穷尽无余。”|此尊造像极富动态感，呈忿怒相，面有三目，怒目圆睁，浓眉似火；大张其口，龇牙咧嘴，两腮肥润，作仰天怒吼状，面部表情夸张。双臂交叠胸前，品相完美，题材少见，具有很强的艺术感染力。
