The vase is decorated to the neck with two beast-head handles and two panels with striding dragons amongst flame scrolls above waves. The middle section is decorated in two registers, the upper with a phoenix in flight and the lower with a further striding dragon. The splayed foot is decorated with flowers and pierced rocks.Provenance:Accompanied by a photo and note stating that it was received in July 1975.Condition: Appears to be in overall good condition, wear to the enamels consistent with age.Fine glaze crackles.Origin: ChinaPeriod: Wanli period (1573-1619)Sizes: 25.50 cm.
