The bowl is finely decorated with a group of sparrows amongst bamboo, flowers, and rocks, the scene is inscribed and interspersed with various iron-red and gilt seals, all reserved on a sgraffiato blue ground. The interior and base are glazed turquoise and bears an apocryphal Yongzheng mark.Condition: The bowl has been cracked and restored with associated overpainting, and a small associated loss (Approx. 1 cm.).Otherwise the enamels are well-preserved.Origin: ChinaPeriod: Republic period (1912-1949)Sizes: 19.00 cm.
