The trunk is decorated with raised panels, the front of the chest with a panel containing auspicious animals such as tigers, antelope, and dragons in a mountainous landscape, the top of the box with Kirtimukha amongst lotus, and the sides each decorated with a lotus spray; all surrounded by further lotus blooms and cloud scrolls in colourful pigments.
