The exterior is enamelled with large lotus heads flanked by a pair of stylised phoenix, separated by a bat holding a suspended chime, all between a band of ruyi-heads to the gilt rim and lappets to the foot. The interior is decorated with five iron-red bats, wufu, in flight.
