|此件斋戒牌为和阗白玉质。椭圆形，周饰两条夔龙，龙身雕刻繁复。正中同心椭圆琢饰“斋戒”二字，正面为汉文，反面为满文，带原装流苏。斋戒牌是中国古代明清时期行斋戒礼时所置示警牌。凡大祀、中祀皇帝致祭，事前应斋戒，由太常寺进斋戒牌。行祀之日各佩斋戒牌，不理刑名，不宴会，不作乐，不入内寝，不问疾吊丧，而有疾有服者不与戒。斋戒牌不仅是工艺精湛的艺术品，也是古人笃信神灵、虔诚信仰的见证。
