|和阗白玉籽料质地，玉质莹润洁白，十分细腻。童子呈斜倚状，圆头鼓脑，桃形发髻，梭形眼，葱管鼻，樱桃小口，上身着长马甲，表面饰方格纹和“米”字纹，下身着宽松长裤，短靴，右手持一枝盛开的荷花负于后背，荷花过头顶。童子体态匀称，表情惬意，雕琢细腻传神，惟妙惟肖，为典型的宋代玉童子。此器物虽小，但雕工极为精湛。自头顶至脚底打通天孔，可以佩戴。
