|和阗白玉质，局部受褐色沁。片状，虎首较写实，作匍匐状，长尾翻卷，前后打孔，器体手工打磨痕迹明显。早在新石器时代，虎就被人们神化了，成为人们所崇拜的神兽之一。用玉雕虎应始于商代晚期，妇好墓中出土八件玉虎，其中一件造型与这件相似。|注：《中国出土玉器全集-4》（山东卷）收录有同类器物，可供参阅。
