The later dial signed for Norton, LondonSurmounted by five cone finials over canted corners set with female term mounts to a moulded base on scroll feet, the arched gilt brass dial with engraved tune selection arc offering a choice of six tunes, 'Air, Mallet, Air, Pologelu, Minuet and Minuet', with strike/silent subsidiaries, the matted centre with date aperture, the substantial six pillar movement with verge escapement rack striking the hours and playing a tune on 13 bells and 23 hammers, the plain back plate with later signature 61cms (2ft) high.
