题识：祖武吾兄法教，兴公。|钤印：「兴公」 |余兴公（1899-1983），四川郫县人。原名世泽，后异字中英，号兴公，晚岁亦号兴公老人。善书法，为赵熙、白石翁弟子。清末考入四川陆军小学，未及毕业，民国成立，转入四川陆军军官学校，毕业后，在川军中任职，直至团长。抗战初期，随刘湘率川军出征，后任川康绥靖公署副参谋长。1940年任成都市长，后为四川省文史馆研究员。
