A COLLECTION OF CHINESE SNUFF BOTTLES.Qing Dynasty.Comprising a Yangzhou school sepia overlay bottle, of upright rounded rectangular form, carved through sepia overlay to the milk-white ground with birds and flowers, cicada ring handles, stopper, 7.5cm H, together with a slip-decorated yixing stoneware bottle of hexagonal form, the six faceted panels supported by a hexagonal foot rim, decorated to the body in white slip with a watery landscape scene on one side and plum blossom on the reverse, ring handles to the shoulders, impressed seal mark to base, 6cm H, a hair crystal bottle of almost globular form, the clear stone suffused with brown tourmaline crystals, stopper, 7.5cm H, and two further glass snuff bottles of flattened circular form the foot encircled by layers of flower petals, stoppers, 6cm H.
