An 18th Century Meissen Chinoiserie beaker decorated with two hand painted cartouche panels in the manner of J.G Horoldt with scenes similar to the Schulz Codex, one side with a seated Chinese figure holding a steaming hot cup, the other with a figure stepping out from a garden building to pour some tea, both within Laub und Bandelwerk borders incorporating Bottger lustre, unmarked other than gilders painted 3 to the base, height 7.5cm
