An Art Nouveau enamel, pearl, sapphire and diamond brooch/pendant, circa 1905


The openwork cartouche of stylised design set with a trio of pliqué-a-jour enamel flowerheads highlighted by 4.1mm-5.3mm pearls, the tapering pliqué-a-jour enamel leaves terminating with a trefoil pendant, the whole set throughout with cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamonds, accented by buff-top sapphires, mounted in platinum and gold, cushion-shaped diamonds approx. 1.50cts total, two diamonds deficient, pearls untested, later brooch fitting, French assay mark, length 8.5cm
