|作为小型佛龛，通常制成小盒型，用以佩戴于颈上，龛中供设佛像。密宗行人于出门时佩戴，一者祈求本尊加持，二者于修法时可取出供奉，为随身之密坛。嘎乌是藏语的音译。盒里一般装有小佛像、印着经文的绸片、舍利子或由高僧念过经的药丸等。本件嘎乌正面鎏金雕刻工艺下方狮面栩栩如生。内供一尊清代五方佛之一中的燃灯佛，佛像一体铸造通体鎏金高10.5厘米。此件嘎乌具有很高的收藏价值。
