A French mahogany, tulipwood crossbanded and gilt metal mounted breakfront secretaire wardrobe: with shell and foliate cresting, the centre section with bevelled mirror panel door surmounted by ribbon tied laurel garlands, having a secretaire drawer below with hinged fall enclosing a satinwood veneered fitted interior with small drawers, pigeon holes and tooled leather inset writing surface, containing two long drawers under, flanked by a full length cupboard to either side, each enclosed by a bevelled mirror panel door with applied ribbon tied drapery, pendant floral foliage, laurel leaves and guilloche ornament on tapered legs, terminating in sabots. 184cm (6ft 01/2in) wide.
