The openwork cover is decorated in repousse with four dragons amongst foliate scrolls, all surrounded by a flower head border, the body of the bowl is decorated with further dragons and openwork foliate scrolls, the sides are fashioned with two loose-ring Buddhist lion head handles. The base with a front-facing openwork dragon. Condition: There are expected minor dents. The hinge is slightly loose The front lock plate possibly restuck.
