A tall Beilby wine glass c.1770, the generous drawn trumpet bowl enamelled in white with a spray of fruiting grapevine, a small fruit sprig to the reverse, raised on an opaque twist stem, traces of gilding to the rim, 17.9cm. The addition of the fruiting branch is an unusual one, with most glasses of this type bearing a continuous grapevine border. Provenance: from a private collection in London.
