A good Chamberlain cup and saucer c.1815-20, finely painted in the manner of Thomas Baxter with titled views of stately homes, the cup titled 'Brancepeth', the saucer 'Oxton', reserved within wide gilt bands on a lilac ground, script marks, the saucer inscribed 'The Seat of The Rev'd J Swete, Devonshire', the cup with 'The Seat of M Russell Esq, Durham', 14.3cm.
