Each carved and infilled with colour to depict narrative scenes with a lady standing in a garden, beside one with boys borne on a cloud, the other with a scholar and attendant sleeping at a table visible through a window, Ming Yang seal mark to bottom left, the reverse lacquered in red and gilt with shaped panels enclosing a landscape scene, details of the path inlaid with mother-of-pearl crystals, below a panel of antiques and flowers all within a decorative border, 14.5 x 26.5cm.
