Edo period (1615-1868), 19th centuryPainted in underglaze blue with geese flying above and wading amid reeds by a winding stream, the cover similarly decorated with flying geese and surmounted by a finial in the form of a recumbent shishi. 17.8cm (7in) high, 23.8cm (9 3/8in) diam. (2).
