Provenance:Property from a Midwest American collection.Note:Persimmon glazed wares were produced at several kilns in North China, mostly from the Ding and Yaozhou kilns. The Ding variant of the persimmon glaze acquires the colour involving an initial application of bluish-black glaze, followed by another very thin coating of iron oxide.
