The new Quadrennial calendar holds a position juxtaposed between the annual and perpetual calendars. This novel and ingenious function allows for the calendar to be adjusted just once every leap year. The movement is regulated by the special Audemars Piguet escapement and double balance spring, giving the highest possible precision to its time keeping capabilities. The exquisite and stark white enamel dial complements the ingenious engineering and is housed in the signature oval Millenary case, originally designed by Emmanuel Gueit, the master craftsman of the legendary Off shore models.According to our research this is the first time this present model has appeared at auction.
