|印盒亦称印奁，用途是盛放印泥，印盒具体起始年代已不可考，宋曾巩诗：“印奁封罢阁钤间，喜有秋毫免素餐。”元代亦有元乔吉《两世姻缘》：“恰便似一个印盒脱将来。”清代传世品较多，此件印盒紫檀为材，形扁圆，子母口，盒盖嵌宝瓜果图，其体形虽小，但作工颇为精湛。
