|说明：金锭上满布八个印戳，十分少见。印戳分别是：“汉口、老凤祥、上上、足赤、长、后？楼中？、1000”，另有一戳无法辨认。|凤祥银楼是上海九大银楼之首，始创于1848年，初名“凤祥裕记”。后来开出三家分号，分别是老凤祥，设址南京路，字号“裕记”；南凤祥，设址大东门（今方浜路），字号“恒记”、“和记”；新凤祥，设址南京路浙江中路，字号“德记”。此件金锭由汉口老凤祥分店制作。
