Even white to pale celadon tone. Carved with inward relief images of Qilin to one side, and pine trees and animals on reverse. Pair of branch form ears to sides. With fitted wood stand. Top and bottom side each with one set of fasteningholes. Ming dynasty. Size: 4.5 x 6cm (1 3/4 x 2 1/4 in.) Provenance: Chinese jades from the Ed Mirvish Estate, collected in the 1960s.
