蓝地金彩是景德镇的传统瓷器品种，始烧于元代，盛于清朝，以沉静肃穆的祭蓝釉为地，来衬托釉上金彩的富丽华贵，装饰效果格外强烈，体现了当朝崇尚华贵艳丽的风尚。本品即为一例，瓶为圆口，束颈，长圆腹，底承圈足，器形简洁流畅，高雅精巧。通体施霁蓝釉，颈、腹部主体纹饰以金彩绘饰，近口沿绘一周回纹，腹部绘人物故事图案。整器构图流丽多姿，人物形象众多，形态各异。釉色均匀沉静，金彩富丽堂皇，在冷色调的霁蓝釉烘托下更显华贵，时代风格极为明显。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系 - 颜色釉》P130，黑釉描金盘口瓶
