|香几是传统家具中常见的器物，有的与座屏、宝座、宫扇等一起使用，也有的单独用于摆放古玩器物。此件香几束腰马蹄腿，由于束腰窄小和罗锅枨位置靠上，使整体重心较高，挺拔秀丽。桌面为标准格角榫攒边打槽平镶面心，桌面光素；冰盘沿下带束腰，与素牙条相接，方腿直足，内翻马蹄足，造型规整，装饰素雅。桌腿足间无枨子如现例，是典型明式家具设计，常见于明代绘画和木刻版画图例中，但传世品相当稀少。
