Idar-Oberstein, Germany Designed in the Rococco style, with shaped handle and spout, this magnificent decanter recalls the famed objets de virtu and table decorations of King Ludwig's Neuschwanstein or the Green Vaults of Dresden. Entirely carved from a single specimen of near-flawless quartz having only minimal internal inclusions--and even those which appear give the impression of ice. The sterling silver work is beautifully executed and decorated with floral and scrolling motifs, with hallmarks for Manfred Wild, Emil Becker on the borders. Height 13 in
