Spessartite garnets of a reddish-orange color with excellent clarity normally do not exceed three carats in weight. Generally, large gems of spessartite garnet are either dark with unattractive color and/or inclusions. The present fine circular-cut stone has exceptional color saturation of vivid tangerine hue or what in the gem trade has been dubbed "Fanta" orange. The combination of large size, rich color and high clarity make this a fine stone for the serious collector. Weighing approximately 20.20 carats and measuring 14.35 x 11.15mm
