Yellow and White Star Sapphire


Mogok, Burma This unusual stone, fashioned as a double cabochon, follows the outline of the original corundum crystal from which it was obtained. A natural yellow at the borders with a center of white, each side has been domed to best show off the asterism which is evident on both sides. Weighing approximately 44.65 carats and measuring 20.90 x 20.77 x 9.56mm
|Accompanied by an Asia Glory report numbered 033921 and dated December 28, 2017 stating that the natural star corundum of yellow and greyish white originates in Mogok, Burma. The certificate shows an image of two stones but only the 44.65 carats stone is included in this offering.
