Greenish Blue Sapphire


An impressive oval-cut sapphire with a big face-up spread giving the appearance of a much larger stone. With exceptionally good clarity, the stone has some minor silk which lines up to form a moderately strong cat's eye effect, a rare phenomenon to be seen in a faceted stone. Weighing approximately 18.53 carats and measuring 19.65 x 15.41 x 6.25mm
|Accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America report numbered 5141042917 dated November 18, 2011 stating that the 18.53 carats oval cut sapphire of dark greenish blue shows indication of heating.
