|来源：现藏家得自艺术家本人||「林达川」|广东新会人。1930年毕业于北平辅仁大学，后入杭州国立艺术专科学校。1932年毕业后东渡日本。1933年至1938年先后在国立东京美术学校油画和雕塑专业学习。1943年毕业后历任东京《新兴美术》杂志编辑。1948年加入日本著名美术团体“一水会”、东京新构造社。1953年回国后就职于中央美院华东分院。曾任浙江省油画研究会顾问，浙江省美术家协会理事。
