|说明：达摩为中国禅宗的始祖，南梁武帝时，因梁武帝崇信佛法，遂至南朝都城建业谒见梁武帝，因面谈不契，遂以一苇渡江，北上北魏都城洛阳。此件玉山子正是以此为题，玉质白润，构思巧妙，正面浮雕达摩渡江之形，达摩作行脚僧打扮，慈眉善目，回首俯观沧海，有普度众生的慈悲之像，左手托经书，右手执杖挂履，赤脚踏于芦苇之上，所谓“一苇渡江”是也，海面波涛汹涌，天上卷云翻舒，尽显达摩渡江潇洒之态。|来源：香港苏富比，1986年11月，Lot.357|香港苏富比，2003年4月27日，Lot.102
