Gilt Bronze & White Jade Censer:
An important censer in jade, hard stone and cast gilt bronze in the form of a hexagonal pagoda. Displaying pierced and incised white jade sides separated by pillars with coiled dragons. Carvings are of double happiness, peaches, tassels, and clouds. The dragon heads project out from the temple protectively. The top is cast to look like a tiled roof and ornamented with bezel set red, blue and green cabochon hard stones and ornamented with tiny bells. Finial has incised jade panels and a lapis top. Incised green jade panels act as the temple walls on top of the elaborately patterned base.
